I have the Alpine single CD player, works very nicely in the car. I'm not sure if the speakers are stock or not, but they sure sound great. There are a couple of posts not that long ago about speaker upgrades, I think Fedde did one and a couple of other guys as well. Actually it's a fairly reasonable switch to make both in time and money. However one of the guys does say that it takes as much time listening and deciding as it does actual hands on to make the choices in speakers to your choice. Everyone likes a different sound it seems. My fule comsumption when figured correctly gets just about 18 mpg if I am driving like the little old 57 yr old man that I am. If I decide to have a heavy foot, well, no use in figuring it out.
