91 auto, 90K miles (archive)

91 850 auto, 90K on the motor, mostly highway. If a 90K (but extremely well maintained) V12 can handle NOS, then I figure everyone's V12 could. I'll do leak down tests every two months and gauge the wear, if any. Really, the way its responding... and the fact that NOS only is used rarely, I think it will handle it well. The day something goes, I'll know how many bottles I've gone through, etc.

I've got 1000 miles on it since the NOS, one bottle done, 2nd half gone, so short term fears have subsided. Fact is, you use it more often in the beginning... so from here on it, it will have selective use. Pulled the plugs today just to check, and DAMN they are clean. NOS, by the way, has a serious cleaning effect, in addition to its serious cooling effect before ignition. Even my DK motors now look spotless inside.

People forget that NOS reduces intake temps some 70 degress! Its cold stuff.
