I vaguely recall....

There was an article in TIS a while back about getting VIN and CARB/emissions labels. Sounded like a nightmare - dealer had to submit a special form with the VIN, and BMWNA in New Jersey would supply the labels. My understanding is these are considered Federal ID stuff and therefore subject to some tough restrictions on distribution.

I'd call BMW's 800 number and try to discuss it with them. Worth a try.

FWIW - I'm missing mine as well. Somebody steam cleaned them off the radiator duct. Nice.
