If you can find an Optima with the right physical dimensions, chances are very good that it would work.

The battery group size that you use when you buy a battery (91 for the 850) really only determines the size of the case, the post location, and the post type. It says nothing about the electrical performance of the battery, except that a battery of a certain size is expected to have an appropriate volume of charge. So the fact that Optima does not have a 91 case type means that there is no exact physical fit for the 850. A physically smaller Optima battery, however, may work as well as a group size 91 lead-acid battery.

There may be something close, but I wouldn't know how to determine what that is.
