where they compared the 850, XJS, SL and the 928? I was quite interesting that most of the testers hated the 8 at first, but grew to love it over the course of the several days they grew to like it. On the flip side of the coin, they all loved the XJS at first( Hmmm that's weird most English magazines hate Jaguars....:) ), but they all hated it most or less after living with the car for some days. I remember especially how impressed they where with the effortless "high speed" handling in the English country side on single lane back roads.

Just food for though, but maybe 99% of the tests, just didn't test enough?
