Is there any difference between the 94 and 95 CSi models, or are they essentially the same car.Is there any advantage to one over the other, if you can find one, other than perhaps the price? Thanks for all your help in my search to find my dream car!

Hello Terry, This question was recently answered by someone else on this board. To my knowledge the only difference between the model years is the EWS II. Approximately 150 1994 CSi's
(produced up to 12/94) and 50 1995 CSi's (produced up to 9/95) were shipped to the states.
Although one might think that a '94 should be cheaper than a 95...not true. Because of the limited number of these cars, the actual condition of the car will determine the price. Thus, a '94 CSi with low(er) miles and in pristine condition can/will command a higher price than a '95 in comparatively less "desirable" (to the market)condition. Regardless of what you read in the Kelly-Blue Book(s),Edmund's, and the like--the prices paid for CSi's (in particular) are driven by the fact that CSi's are rare and sought after by a growing and passionate group of Automobile/BMW-phile's. If the car you are looking for is in excellent condition, regardless of year, (at least in the current market) expect to pay handsomely for a CSi.... Steve F. (1994CSi/Hellrot)

Terry, one other thing I forgot to mention, is that some of these cars were shipped with motorsport(M3)-sideview mirrors and some were shipped with the standard 850 mirrors. The actual
1995 factory brochure(USA), "The BMW 8-Series Coupes" presents the CSi without the motorsport sideview mirrors...
