I really found the thread "http://www.mr2.com/TEXT/kn_filter.txt" interesting. I for one am not sure if I'd use K&N after reading the last post. I know that most of our cars don't see the condition that mining/construction machines do, but it is food for thought. If K&N can make a filter that is so superior from stock, I find it strange that the BMW engieers can't do the same... Hmmm maybe there is a trade off?
