This is correct. Due to emmission changes in Europe the CSi died in 1996. Even dealers that had new ones in stock, had to register them before Jan 1 1997 or never have them sold at all... So new ones sold in 97 are registered 96 and sold as "used".

PS I know, because I found one with 20km on it, never sold but registered once.


When did you find one like that? Must be a few years ago?
