Every V12 BMW owner I have spoken to, that includes 5 750 owners and 3 850 owners all say the same thing. "NO PROBLEMS". It all depends on proper maintenance. My bonehead local dealer told me the same thing. "MAINTENANCE NIGHTMARE". Consider this, the only time a dealer will see a V12 is when it is in the repair shop. They all must say "ANOTHER V12". I love my V12 and I can't wait until I get another one. I've had mine for 20k miles and yes, replacing the intake manifold gaskets was expensive, but my car feels rock solid.
