I don't disagree with Steve, but I did just replace my water pump and O-rings several months prior, and didn't want to compound the task at hand with an addition R&R. You see, you've gotta remove the water pump to free the main water return pipe from the rear water manifold. Not difficult, but since everything at the front of the engine is so tight and leak-free, I figured I could stand the risk of going another year with the top gasket in place.

I figured now that I know how to quickly remove the intakes, I'll probably be inside the engine on a more regular basis.
