The black plastic coverings (condoms) over the rear shocks on my 94 are cracked (maybe some crackerjack mechanic hit them with the tires when installing). Are these replaceable? Do they need to be? Since crap may be getting in or deteriorating the shock. Anyone have part #'s?


I just replaced one Part number was 33-52-1-134-044 cost $3.90; installation: 1 hour charged by BMW dealer near DC
