help! my tranny blew up (archive)

Left my house this morning, drove about 4 miles and all of the sudden I noticed my transmission misbehaving. Downshifting when it should have been upshifting. Slipping, etc. Turned around and headed back home and noticed a steady line of transmission fluid starting at my driveway. Anyone have a clue what would cause a massive transmission fluid leak? I just had my oil changed at the dealer. Do they check the transmission fluid when they perform that service? Any clues would be helpful! I can't call the dealer until next Tuesday due to the holiday.
