Matt,

Don't panic, transmissions don't "blow up". What you've got is a leak - a pretty bad one from the sounds of it.

Knowing dealers, they probably left some fitting half-torqued! That, or they overfilled the transmission. The possibilities are endless.

Seriously, get under the car (jack it if you can) and start looking for telltale leaking points. It'll go a long way in helping figure out what's leaking. It may just be a loose drain plug, missing gasket, or maybe they removed the cooler pipes and didn't fasten them correctly.

Stan C. just experienced this, and Stan, I think you should chime in here on your rear main seal.
