Just to let you know that you have stroker motors as alternatives. Racing Dynamics has both 6.2L and 5.5L conversions for the M70 motor. The M73 motor can only be upgraded to 6.2L. Torque is abundant on both conversions. The rating is 401HP 398lb-ft torque for the 5.5L and 452HP 457lb-ft for the 6.2L. The cost for the 5.5L conversion is $14800 and the 6.2L is $17800. Check the website for details.

Other than adding the displacement, the engines include all internal work to lighten the engine parts. The lesser the friction and the restriction, the better the performance of the engine is. Combined with the added displacement, the ligther and more rev happy engine will be a totally different animal.
