I cant see clearly now........ (archive)

Greetings from kangaroo land. 3,5,7, Z; its all clear to me that no-one makes clear turn lenses for our 8s. Has anyone ever looked into having these made(front turn signals and side markers and even the tailights?) I get pissed off when i see all the other beemers looking so new. Spoke to a plastic moulder yesterday who can maybe make them, didnt get into price or quality or anything yet, he reckons I have to pull the lens from the housing first. Side markers arent a problem, but the others are glued on from the hella factory, cant see any way of splitting them without killing them, there are no 8s in junkyards here to buy a cheap set and try it out.
Who else would like clear lenses on their car?

Off topic- Who gets whacked on The Sopranos? We are behind here. I just watched the "did you f!#k her yet? HA HA you didnt f!#k her yet!" episode. The SL600 looks tough but Tony makes the car look small, he's been eating a lot on the show lately.
