Hello everyone,

I got a quick question. My transmission died on me, so I am now getting it rebuilt, including the torque converter. The place where my mechanic is getting the torque converter from, custom makes them. He said he could custom make one for my 850. The stall speed would be an additional 500 rpm over stock. Would I be able to feel the difference, my mechanic said definitely since it is also a v12 engine. Any input would be appreciated, my knowledge in this area is minimal. I know it is not great for the tranny, but he is installing a cooler (since I live in Florida) and giving me a 2/24,000 warranty. The cost for the upgraded torque converter is $150. Also what is a fair price to pay for a rebuilt tranny.
Thanks,
Danny C.
