I used to repair the digital dash's of Chrysler car's back in the late 80's and use a similer device all the time to reset the newly repaird dash, in the case of Chrysler dash's there was an asterisk by the readout to show it had been reset, and I guarantee that not just anybody can get these! Hope that makes you guy's feel a little better about it all.

Jim ;-)

I read in one of the recent post's about the Alpina for sale that "We all know how easy it is to clock these cars", meaning to spin the miles back. I am concerned about this after just purchasing a 1991 last Thursday (It's on a transport as we speak) with low, low miles.

Can I get some feedback on the diffuculty and skill level or any comments on this illegal adjustment to an E31?

MR

Go to the website below. I found it after I read your post. After seeing this I will never trust the odemeter on any car EVER !!! I wonder how many people have got their hands on one of these!!
