Check the archives. The culprit could be one of a few things, but the cause of this on my car was warped rotors and some worn bushings.

My mechanic says that this condition is probably not dangerous, just very annoying.

Don't worry too much, but definitely get it checked out.

I experience extreme vibrations at 50 mph on 840ci, when I step on the brake pedal, it is worse. The whole car shakes, even the steering wheel. I'm wondering if any of you guys had the same problem.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
