You described the plug perfectly and I wondered the same thing but I noticed today that my brake lights (including the cyclops) are now always on. I am going to look into the brake wiring to see if I can find it because this was definetly not happening before.

I may have two issues going on at the same time and I am going to get in touch with Justin (I bought the car from him) and find out exactly what was and wasn't done to the car so I don't duplicate effort trying to figure this out.
