The K&N filter debate has raged on for a very long time in several discussion groups according to what I have been able to dig up.
I was looking into using them a while back with the idea of gaining some additional HP and ending the paper filter waste. My internet search yielded four sites with descent content, both pro and con.
The first one is K&N's own site, the next two are threads compiled on the subject from other discussion groups and the fourth is a .pdf file of an independant lab test.
I recall reading comments made by Jim Conforti in one of the threads.

Happy reading!!

Has anyone converted the stock boxes to cone type filters any advantages?
