I just serviced my 1995 840Ci and need to reset the oil change and brake lining warning indicators. Can someone tell me how is this done?

warning,done at youre own risk! if you look at www.bmwpower.nu,thers an explanation of te procedure,its in swedish though,when youve entered the site,go to tips och teknik,then mekartips,then nollställning,H,eres a translation,turn off ign,shut off all electric users,shortcut 1 n 7 in the diagnostic box,3 secs for oilservice,12 for inspection

same method,pole 7 and 19 instead,be extremely carefull choosing te right plug,othherwise harm to cars electric system could occur.time to close inspection lights could vary a bit,so the most secure way is to do like this.take 2 cables from each plug into the car,,turn off all electric users,turn on ignition,then sit back n watch the
ligts turn green,for extra security,a 470 ohms resistor could be put between the cables,then you can short down time to 2,5and 10 secs
