This install was very easy. Be sure to follow all intructions reguarding the cleaning process. This kit goes on with the 3M moulding double stick tape. Touch it down once and it's there to stay. I don't feel that hot weather is going to be an issue. My wife helped me hold some of the 'floppier' pieces so that we could get perfect alignment. The pieces all taper down on the edges so they really don't stick up that far.

Hi Larry,

The pics look GREAT!! Was it difficult to install? How do you think it will hold up in really hot weather?? This looks like the way to go for those of us who don't want to spend US $3,000 on an OEM kit.

BTW, how thick is the 'add-on' - does it protrude above the surrounding edges by much?
