CSi's have the vertical portion painted black (minus the raised stips and the BMW logo) and this was stripped off when I took off my cosmoline and required repainting with high temp. manifold paint avail. at any local auto. parts store. Took more than a few min. though, but end result also looks good......I should post my pics...
