I would probably also be interested, persently my car is in the shop for various upgrades and if i am going to do this, now is the time to do so. Can you send me the info also if i need to order to complete set as well as the kit.

I'm about to change my 850i mirrors to the CSI mirrors. Does anyone know if the motor comes with the main piece? Maximillian claims I only need to order the outer case (teardrop case) & the actual glass mirror. BMW thinks I have to order the outer case, motor, glass mirror, housings, gaskets & screws. Maximillian is charging me $630.00 for the set & BMW wants $1,100.00 for the complete set.

If anyone knows this would greatly help me out!!! Thanks Jaz

here are the infos for you.

What you need are a "retrofit kit", so called from BMW, see the ETK at diagram 51_3981

The mirror itself with all the single items, except the glass, which need to be ordered by itself.

powered exterior heatable mirror left, M technic
#51 16 2 253 831

#51 16 2 253 832 dito right hand side

only in conjunction with mirror glass, heated and memory.
#51 16 2 267 191 drivers side
#51 16 2 267 224 co drivers side

Like some board members did experience together with me, the items might save you some money if you order them thru me in germany.
