Mintex Red Brake Pads are Dust Free... (archive)

Finally I got a good brake pad with pratically no dust. I put my brand new Mintex Red Pads on this morning and drove heavy all day and by night time there was still no dust at all!!! Not like the original BMW Stock Pads where they would make my wheels very dusty in 2 hours. The stopping action feels the same to me as the BMW stocks, so I don't feel that I sacrificed my stopping ability to be dust free, and they are also quiet too not squeeking like other aftermarket brake pads I've had in the past.

I wish I would of got these Pads sooner before I started getting some imbeded dust marks on my chrome MKs, but hey at least I'm dust free now thanks to y'all on the board.

If anyones interested in getting these Mintex Red Brake Pads, Bekkers Imports (www.bekkers.com) has them in stock now for the 8's (ask for John). I paid $55.00 for the Front Pads and $45.00 for the Back Pads and they can overnight them to you for a few bucks more.

If anyone needs some slightly used original BMW stock Brake Pads for the 8 let me know. I put brand new original BMW stock pads on my car a week ago, but once I saw the massive dust problem I quickly changed to these Mintex Pads.
