: Allen,

: If the outer handle works fine, open the door and look for a litle black sliding device on the door, next ot the latch. My 1990 735 has child lock switches that disable the inner handles in the manner you describe.

Whoops, I misread the post.

: : A 90 model 735il--driver's side rear door will not move. I suspect the actuator is frozen, but how can I get it open just to check? I have the door lock button in the up position, but the inner and outer handles still will not open it. Inner lever seems bound up, but outside handle works freely. Experience/suggestions? TIA, allen.
