Have had no problems with the rear, but plenty with the front.

Take the interior trim panels off of the other door to take a look a the linkage setup.

My guess is you will have to lower the window and go fishing through the window slot with a slim jim to reset the child lock or snag the lock linkage and return it to the unlocked position.

But observing the other door will help guide you to the best location. Short of the jaws of life, this is the best I can come up with!!

I had a similar situation with the fronts, a dead battery and inoperable manual modes on both front doors. Felt like an idiot with this thing sitting in the driveway and no way to open doors or hood to access battery terminals to re-energize or deactivate the security alarm.

: I keep messing around with this thing, thinking I'm going to find a way to get it open. After further swearing, I fell pretty sure now that the child lock is on, but the exterior handle is inop. Suggestions now? (Yeah, I know.) Didn't get any help on the last post, even my BMW tech is scratching his head. Help! TIA.
