Now, the low-level shake. I've read on this board that the vast majority of '93/'94 740i share this problem. It is similar to what you would experience if your frint tires were out of balance. It's most pronounced on smooth pavement and really only noticable (and not that bad to begin with) between 55-68 mph, more or less. When accelerating, it seems to go away.

Other posters have alluded (sic) to this, and I have found it myself. Like I said, I am new to BMW. These initial comments are immediate reactions after having driven a Lexus for years. I bought this because I wanted this, a BMW, not a Lexus. Anyway, thanks for the post. THis is a great board.
