Electrical gremlins.

1. Corrosion/rust in the wiring/lamp connectors,
2. an actual bad or worn lamp
3. a lamp that was replaced with a different
lamp than what factory uses.

Trans fluid: Check when warm, engine running, in park, what I've always been taught for autos
