The motor itself could be burned out. Check that there is at least power going to the motor. I think you will actually have to get inside the seat to do this. Start with fuses though. I know that on mine there is one 30 amp fuse that if blown stops the mirror dipping (in reverse) and the driver's seat lumbar. It was one of the fuses in the box under the bonnet - not under the back seat.
