I just finished removing my self leveling suspension and adding bilstein shocks and RacingDynamics springs. I also added the front tower brace from Racing dynamics.

The ride is not as plush as the original suspension as I recall from years back, but I wanted a good handeling still comfortable ride. I am very happy with the results. The car rides like a slot car when I need to push it and very comfortable for family crusing.

If you are going to make the change I will let you know some of the things to watch out for.

I am thinking about converting the self-leveling suspention on my 1989 750IL I am thinking about putting Bilstein shocks but I can't figure out what sprins to put with them. I want to keep the ride the same. Anyone have any suggestions? I have heard that converting the suspention makes the car ride worse is this true? I don't drive the car on trips or anything I mostly drive it to and from work and school.
