Maybe the two screws you are referring to are those at the back of the instrumental panel, they are black plastic release locks at the bottom edge, twist left and pull out. The instrument panel should then lift up allowing you access to the bulbs. This can be a little tricky as you may have to unplug the looms and maybe remove the steering wheel.


The 2 screws are under the top of the dash on top of the intrumentation cluster.


Need to replace the odometer milage light and the indecater lights for the Gear indicater, which I didn't even know was there until reading this board. It's a 88 735i. Have seen people post that there are 2 screws on top of the dach , but not on mine. Any suggestions on how i can do this.
