Follow the break-in procedure as outlined in the Owner's Manual I.E: Don't lug the engine. Don't use the tranny kick-down feature. Don't cruise at constant speeds for prolonged periods. Don't rev over 2/3 maximum engine speed, ever. Take it easy for first 1500-2000 miles, etc. Use synthetic oil if you wish...you have new gaskets and seals so leaking of old seals is not a concern with the synthetics.

Will get my car back this week with a new block and was wondering if anyone had any tips, pointers good information on breaking in this engine. Also would like to get oppinions on whether to use synthetic or regular oil from hrer on.

Thnaks in advance.
