I have a 92 735i, the passenger electric mirror doesn't tilt down or up and is slow to move in and out. Is it the motor or could it be something else?


Mine went a bit noisy in cold /freezing weather and then I went pulling at it and it stopped 'remembering' it's vertical position.
Turned out it was the mirror motor in my case although it is wise to consult a dealer /expert first as there are MANY places that the mirror motor position is routed through BEFORE it gets to the actual mirror. e.g. seat memory and transmission selection for starters.
