I recently repaired a broken mount on my 750iL in this manner. Basically, I used JB Weld and fiberglass cloth to glue the mount back into position. I initially just glued the mount back into position. Then, I used multiple layers of JB Weld and fiberglass cloth to strengthen the joints so that the mount would not easily break in the same place. I had to use popcicle sticks to reach in a spread the glue. The entire proceedure took me about 3 days (dry time between applications, etc). So far, the repair has lasted (knock, knock on wood).
Please keep in mind that the motors are extremely strong and the repair must be stronger. Also, test the motors to see if you can physically stop their movement. If not, consider replacing the motor.
