Thanks to everyone who has been answering my random E32 questions. I don't own one, but am highly interested in purchasing one. In my previous posts I have expressed interest in the 1990-1992 735i, so all my questions pertain to that range. With that out of the way, I have a few more random questions:

1.) Can you close all windows and sunroof from the outside of the car by turning the key in the driver's side door lock cylinder, a-la-E36?

2.) I've read that E34's from the beginning (read:1989) have one touch up/down on all windows including sunroof. Edmunds.com said it didn't appear on E32's until 1992; is that right, or is that a typo and 7's have actually had them the whole time?

3.) When (if ever) did keyless remote entry appear on 735i?

4.) Do the interior lights light up with the pull of the outside door handle, and when they shut off (after the delay), do they dim down or shut off instantly?

Perhaps many questions like these could wait until test drives, but my curiosity has the better of me right now. Thanks for any information

Patrick

1988 750iL has all the bells and whistles mentioned above with the exception that 'one touch' window was only on the driver's side and sunroof at that stage.
Pull the handle and the lights just switch off after whatever the time is but you can only do this 3 times consecutively before that function ceases. (I guess it's to prevent too much drain on the battery).
Keyless entry 88 750 has also. I only assume that 735 had it then too as my owner's manual covers 735 up to 750 and doesn't mention any difference.
