Well what i would do when that happens is wobble the wheel left and right really fast *but not too much* then the tires create more friction on the pavement and KINDA helps out to stop * Every little bit helps!!!*

1988 735i. When I slam on the brakes (to stop as fast as possible)the car does not immediately slow down. But if I ease down on the pedal them push them hard the car stops fine. What is this? Is this what is called the
"bomb" brake pedal or something. This delayed reaction of the brakes can be dangerous in certain situations ie. rear-ending someone if you do not have enough braking time. Any info would be appreciated.
