Not really. The fan is about at the firewall, tho. It will either go away or get a lot worse, so you'll know soon. My fan went for months, sometimes making a noise, sometimes not, until it did it all the time and was really aggravating. Its a pretty easy job to replace, it that's what it is.

Thanks for the reply. The sound seems to come from "deeper" in the center of the dash, almost under the window. Any further ideas?
