A new hinge is about $14.00 at the dealer if I remember right. Did mine about a year ago. The old one unclips with a screwdriver & new on snaps in. Should be intuitive. Can't remember if new hinge comes with spring, get that also if old one got lost.

hey everyone,

your suggestions in the past have been more than helpful...
and everything was going great until today...when i opened the gas tank i noticed a black plastic thingie fall on the ground and then when i went to shut the fuel tank door it wouldnt...i played with some adjuster thingie (cylindrical thing that you push in and out on the inside)...and i got the door shut temporarily...but its not right...please help...

thank you...any suggestions would be more than helpful...
