On second thought, your accumulators seem bad, and that may be your only problem. It doesn't sound like the dealer has a really good grasp on the problem(s), or perhaps it is lost in the translation. Perhaps just replace the accumulators and see what happens. Especially if you are going to do it yourself.
And again, the dash messages may be wrong. It could be something else. Or not, but I earlier mentioned that I had similar Suspension Leveling messages and it was something else on the same electrical circuit. I just don't remember what. Sorry.
Good luck.

As to the windows, can you not simply put the rear wire on the rear switch, etc? Did it just start doing this, or has it done it ever since you bought the car? Did the dealer actually do anything other than push the button up and down? Did they remove the switch, or simply nod knowingly? Perhaps some electrical guru on this web has a logical answer, but I'd suspect someone accidentally switched the wires and did not want to go to the trouble to fix it.
As to the leveling switch, its a simple mechanical device above the rear axle but a devil to replace and adjust. Perhaps it simply needs tightening or adjustment? Either way, you really need to get the Bentley manual. Its much better when you can visualize the problem and solution.
Good luck.

I need to change the filter for my power steering and the leveling switch for my self-leveling suspension on my ’89 750iL. Can someone explain how to go about doing this? My right side power windows are also malfunctioning; the right front switch works the right rear window while the right rear switch works the front window. My local BMW dealer said the switch is ok that he suspects I need a “GM” replaced and code. Does anyone know what he is talking about etc? Please help!
