Was the Remote Control Standard on the 89' 750il?
if so, is there a way to get a replacement ?about how much$$$$?

As far as I know the remote was standard and a replacement in Australia is around $400.00
approx. $200.00 US.
- yes our dollar is PLUMMETING against the US at the moment.
