Turns out the sensors were fine. The problem is in the wiring (front wheel). There is an internal break/fault in the wire at the strain relief that is bracketed to the wheel well housing. I am going to get a new (used) cable from the salvage yard and splice it in.The problem took me awhile to find due to the fact that the wire made contact when the wheel was off the ground. As soon as the wheel is in normal position the wire would loose contact and leave an open circuit. And we all know what that means....GONG..."BRAKE LININGS"
Does anyone know how to troubleshoot a false "Brake Linings" message in the check control display? Both sensors check out with good continuity.
