I made a tool to loosen the the nut. i bent a 17 mm wrench about 1.5 inches fron the end, then welded the wrench to a 1/4" rod about 2 feet long, with a cross piece at the top, so you turn the tool.
Slip the tool past the engine (doing this from above) loosen the nut, then with a small hand reach down there with a stubby regular screw driver or a dime and turn the screw thats inside the nut about 1/4 to 1/2 turn. tighten the nut and do a test drive.
