I have an 88 , 735iHow do I retrieve the Fault codes and where is the list to define the Fault Code. Such as DA = emmission (lambda) control.

As far as your problem is concerned, I would try to determine if a small amount of coolant is getting to the Combustion Process. Coolant absolutely poisons O2 sensord.
Peack Research is selling a little tool that pluges intio your Diagnostic plug and lets you read the fualt codes and reset your check eng light . It cost $150 but it pays for itself very fast. Thanks for the tip on the o2 sensor and coolant leak. Ahmad

Hey, its worth a shot.

Tom
