Just a comment really.

Bentley says remove the three screws holding these in from inside the engine bay.

Well ... there are two ?@%^&& screws and a nut. The screws are just difficult to get to, but you don't have to take the nut off. I did and it (and my socket) fell down and took 20 mins to find :=(

Basically remove the screws, loosen the nut, remove the bulb holder and the lamp comes out
