Remove the seat bottom (pull up on the left side and the right side then slide the seat forward). The seat belt unit is bolted to the floor. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but these are basically sealed units and are typically replaced, not repaired. If you buy a used unit there is no guarantee that it will work properly and do you really want to take a chance with a seatbelt? Recently, I had to replace the front passenger seatbelt as the belt would lock and not release. The new part cost around $100.

I have a non-functional center rear seat belt. I'm wondering how to reach the mechanism and replace. Anyone know a good source to pick this item up? Used would be great. Thanks, Steph
