I do have that stopwatch function instead of the aux ventilation. Is the relay the only difference? In other words, can I add the relay and activate the aux ventilation.

My parked car ventilation doesn't work. I don't get any prompts for timers from my OBC. I looked to see if it may be the parked car ventilation relay that is in the BMW service manual. I couldn't find the ^*($(&* relay. It should be right above the glove box right? My questions are these. Is this feature standard for all of the 1990 7-series. I have a 735il. Also, with the relay gone, would I get these same results of not seeing anything about the feature on the OBC?

Not all of the E32 had the aux ventilation. If your car does not have this feature your 'timer' function on the OBC will be a stopwatch instead.

Sorry, but I do not know whether that is all that needs to be changed to have aux ventilation. At a guess though I would be very surprised if it was as simple as fitting another relay because the aux ventilation is a setup to activate an independant fuel burning heater as well at temperatures under a certain level.
