First, find a cheap shipper. If you arrange to ship it with them, they'll do all the necessary conversions for you when it gets to a port. Make sure it is possible before you have it shiped, 'cause they WON'T let it in if it's not. The car dealers and shipper in Frankfurt or even Ramstein can give you more information. Try asking them how they do it, they'll probably give you some useful and FREE info. Make sure it's all good before you ship it! Ask more questions if you need more answers.

I'm stationed in Germany, and I have a 89 750i with European specs. I want to bring it with me back to the states. Does anyone know if there is a place in the states that will convert it to US specs or over here in Germany that will convert it?
