Tighten the belt or replace it.

Has anybody had any trouble with getting their power steering belt wet in rainy weather? If I drive through even shallow water puddles, water gets up on the belts and its like the power steering stops completely. I am assuming the wet belt slips until it dries out. Whats the fix?
