Does anyone have the key to break down the 750 VIN's? I'd like to be able to find out what options a car is supposed to have on it. I.e. for the limited slip option, I can't just look at the diff and tell the difference (maybe a more experiencec BMW conniseur can).

To tell if you have a limited slip diff. Look at the serial # Tag attached to it and if it has an "S" or a "Z" code then its limited slip, or jack up the rear of the car with the wheels suspended, place car in neutral, emergency brakes off and spin the rear wheels, if both spin, then you have limited slip if only one spins, then you do not. Don't forget to chock the front wheels and make sure you are on alevel surface.
